May 21st, 2020 - Palermo - Castellammare del Golfo, ca 65 km
After a long train ride, finally the biking part starts!
First stage Palermo to Castellammare del Golfo. Getting out of Palermo through the famously chaotic traffic worried us a little bit, but it was actually much easier than we thought.
First stop outside of Palermo was Sferracavallo, a coastal town with a nice little harbor.

There were still not many people around. No tourists, just us. The restaurant was empty... so we got HUGE portions at the restaurant. We think the owner did not want to throw away food, so we got it all...
